Project GPS

A unique opportunity to support, encourage, and refresh missionaries around the world.

Project GPS

Overseas mission work is filled with complex challenges: culture shock, isolation, power outages, hostile bureaucracies, and more. In order to thrive on the field, missionaries need support for themselves, and not just their ministry work. Through Project GPS, “senders” have the ability to collect, pack, and send goods, supplies, and comforts from home to overseas missionaries.

Why do we do it?

We are uniquely positioned to support missionaries by leveraging a steady stream of short-term teams and their available packing space. We have relationships with missionaries all over the world and are constantly sending teams to areas where they work. When short-term teams pack for trips, they pack for missionaries first leaving room for missionary needs. This is a sustainable, responsible ministry practice. When possible, we believe overseas ministries should operate with locally acquired supplies, however we’re blessed to help fill in the gaps where necessary.

How do we do it?

Go Be Love maintains a list of approved missionary families living in the areas of the world where we send teams. Prior to the departure of a short-term team, we ask these families for a current list of their wants and needs and then we partner them with a church, Sunday school class, or another group that can provide and pack these items. These are always very reasonable and easily obtained articles that simply are not available on the mission field. Anyone who loves missionaries and has a heart for overseas missions should get involved.
